Thermo-Calc software and its add-on modules for the applications in design and 3D print of high entropy and shape memory alloys
Thermo-Calc software and its add-on modules DICTRA and additive manufacturing (AM) module have been recently purchased at dpt. 18 and will serve for the solution of the FerrMion project. The software allows the CALPHAD simulations of phase diagrams, simulate processes during thermal treatment and selective laser melting, etc.
In the seminar, the software and its add-on modules will be introduced, and application examples will be presented. The main focus will be put on the design of high entropy alloys possessing shape memory effect and on the additive manufacturing of selected NiTi-based shape memory alloys.
